The company began expanding its data center at the beginning of 2008 to accommodate the ever-growing need for businesses to use their rack space and bandwidth outside of their physical locations. Utilizing colocation services provides business’ critical servers with direct connectivity to their secure, redundant, high performance network interconnected to the Internet via multiple gigabit routers for ultra high-speed, reliability, and redundancy.
Spectra Access provides a complete line of e-commerce solutions including Internet access, web hosting, outsourced wireless networking services and colocation. Through this colocation, Spectra Access is able to provide their business customers disaster prevention that allows them to place critical servers separate from their physical business location ensuring continual operation of services; better bandwidth utilization for higher efficiency; connectivity redundancy all in a controlled environment that maintains temperature and humidity.
Spectra Access has space available in ¼ rack, ½ rack, full rack or individual 1U spaces. Additional features includes secure or open rack space options, 24x7 Key FOB access with video surveillance, diverse connectivity options from 10Mbps share or dedicated 1Mbps increments up to 1Gbps, and full technical support for the network (including 24/7 emergency support).
